**Tough-as-nails stormproof lighter**
If you’ve ever been caught in a wind or rain storm while out camping, then you know just how important it is to have good gear with you. Staying dry and warm isn’t just for comfort, it’s for survival. This Stormproof Lighter is an essential tool when you’re out in the wilderness, whether the forecast looks dodgy or not. Built to stand up to extreme wind and rain, it features a stainless steel wire closure designed for rugged outdoor use and an easy-grip rubberized case in high visibility orange. Eliminating the need for batteries or flint, the Trekker Stormproof uses a piezo-electric ignition system — featuring an easy one-handed operation that lights up to 30,000 times. The flame can withstand winds up to 80 miles per hour and performs up to an altitude of 8,000 feet. It also burns at a toasty 2,000°F.
