**Levi’s limited collaboration with Kelly Slater’s Outerknown — launching exclusively at Huckberry**
While designing the very first Outerknown collection, Kelly Slater said to cofounder John Moore, “We’re never doing denim.” Its production was just too damaging to the environment. But as John looked down at his vintage Levi’s trucker jacket and thought of that soulful connection he’s always had with the broken-in denim fabric, a seed was planted. It might take time to figure out, he thought, but there had to be a better way to craft denim consciously.
That seed was also planted at Levi’s. Since 1853, Levi Strauss & Co. has not only been trailblazing American style, it’s also sown deep roots in sustainable practices.
