The darkly colored Vuela Blanket by Nipomo is dotted with brightly colored flying "golondrina" birds. The golondrina, Spanish for "swallow," is referenced in many Latin American song lyrics.
The blanket itself is big enough for a 2 – 4 person picnic and rolls up in thirds for easy transport. Each blanket is hand-woven in Mexico by skilled artisans. And each leather strap is hand-made by Nipomo in San Francisco out of vegetable tanned leather that ages nicely with use, providing an easy means of transport for the blanket to your favorite spot (even if it's just from the living room to the bedroom).
