**The bad boy granddaddy to the modern trucker jacket, cut from a special American denim that’s the last of its kind**
With the last batch of their custom-designed, American-made denim from the recently shuttered Cone Mills in hand, Flint and Tinder didn’t want to make any ol’ trucker jacket. So, they turned to a sleeper hit from the dungaree archives. First introduced in the ‘50s and favored by the likes of the original hound dog, Elvis Presley, the Type 2 Trucker is the second generation of the Levi’s classic that came before the Type 3 that we all know today. With its signature front pleats and double patch pockets, not to mention the sweet fades the unwashed denim will acquire over time, this USA-made jacket will garner nods of approval from those in the know every time you walk down the street. There was only a limited amount of this denim made before Cone Mills shut down the White Oak Plant, the oldest denim mill in the USA, so if we’ve got your attention, act fast—when they’re gone, they’re gone.
