This frame is meant for the everyday user with an emphasis on style and weight. The frame is cut from a stock of Aluminum 6061, then tumbled and sandblasted for a smooth finish. It is then put through a hardening process followed by a Color Anodize. This makes it very durable, scratch-proof, and keeps the light weight benefits of aluminum. The posts and top ring are made of stainless steel to hold up in the toughest conditions. Finally, a rubber insert takes up any slack needed, and creates a smooth glide and locking positions.
