Slow Dance

**Science meets art in this handsome wood frame** Sure, when you hear about science mixing with home decor, it’s easy to think about lava lamps and lighting bulbs—albeit cool, a bit dated and not very handsome. But Wonder Machines took a different approach. The Slow Dance sculpture is a picture frame that makes real objects appear to move in slow motion, all housed in a sleek wood frame. Its captivating display creates an optical illusion caused by synchronized high-speed strobe lights and vibrations. The frame comes with pheasant feathers and you can try putting other lightweight objects—like flowers and leaves—into motion. Enjoy it standing or wall mounted sure to stop the show during any dinner party or gathering.
