**Inspired by Gurkha British military shorts**
The Safari Shorts from 3sixteen are a nod to the classic Gurkha, a type of short originated by Nepalese soldiers, and later supplied to the British military in the first half of the 20th century. Unlike a chino short, this pair features a double pleated front and a wide cut. They also come with side buckle waist adjustments and a front hook waistband closure. As for the build, our friends went with a garment-dyed, heavyweight cotton twill that keeps the shorts soft, broken-in, and durable.
