**Inspired by the Golden Age of auto racing**
The Q Timex Reissue 1971 Velocity is inspired by the Golden Age of auto racing and the electric timepieces of that era. Under the hood of its sleek, stainless steel case is an analog quartz movement for precision timekeeping. There’s a friction-fit aluminum top ring with a time scale to measure elapsed time with precision. Moving on to its race-fueled dial—checkered flag detailing can be seen along the indicators, and the orange sweep of the seconds hand is modeled after a speedometer needle. Even more, the hour markers are engineered to catch light, offering exceptional legibility at a glance. And to round out this ‘70s-era beauty, the perforated rubber strap breathes with the best of ‘em, and is heat- and corrosion-resistant for years of wear and no pit stops.
