The Pilot Chrono adds a remarkable level of capability to Marathon’s signature machined case, knurled screw-down crown, and chunky uni-directional bezel. Still perfectly suitable as a 300m dive watch, the Pilot Chrono combines a day-date complication with precision timing, thanks to its anti-magnetic 7750 ETA Valjoux self-winding automatic movement — a legendary workhorse amongst Swiss chronograph movements. Low-light cockpit luminosity is provided by a combination of sunlight-powered Mari-Glow, and tritium tubes on the dial and hands — the latter of which produce a steady glow for up to 25 years, with no external charge needed.
