**A trail running shoe made with the toughest fiber on earth**
For norda, running isn’t just a hobby—it’s a passion that drives the standard-setting performance of all their trail running shoes. The 001 is the brand’s flagship model, and it’s like no other trail shoe out there. Its seamless upper is crafted from a single piece of bio-based Dyneema®—the lightest, strongest fiber in the world—for boot-like durability with minimal weight. The midsole is made from Vibram® SLE foam for optimal cushioning that resists packing out, and on the bottom, the 001 rides on a Vibram® Litebase® sole plate with burly 5mm lugs for lockdown grip in even the gnarliest terrain. Sturdy, comfortable, and built to last, the 001 will be going strong long after other trail shoes have retired to the landfill.
This “RZ” edition was designed in collaboration with Canadian ultrarunner Ray Zahab and supports his charity impossible2possible, which brings experience-based learning programs to classrooms around the world.
